The ICAF conference in Barsana, Romania was wonderful and now I am on my way home. While I was here in Romania I went running a number of times because I am training for the Venice Marathon at the end of the month. However, I have to say I felt absolutely ridiculous. Here are all of these people doing hard manual labour out in the fields and I am running to burn off extra energy because I sit on my behind all day. It really made me think about how absurd running is. After this marathon I think I will quit and take up walking.
